Due to the structural limitations in such buildings, extensive renovations are often unfeasible, as most of the partitions are load-bearing. Consequently, the room layouts remain largely unchanged. The only notable modification was in the living room, which was previously accessible from both the corridor and the kitchen. We decided to create an opening between the living room and kitchen and they became isolated rooms.

The large corridor was divided into 2 zones: 1) an entrance hall with large built-in wardrobes and a full-wall mirror, 2) an empty space in the center with the opportunity to play "home hockey" with a stick and puck, to prevent it from appearing vacant, graphic paintings adorn the walls. In the main bedroom, the loggia was transformed into a sizable daybed with plush panels and a compact coffee table, offering a cozy space for the owners to relax while enjoying views of the courtyard.

The entire apartment is designed in beige-sand shades with contrasting black accents.

The owners abandoned spotlights and preferred built-in LED lamps and sconces on the walls.
