“Absence of the superfluous” — that’s the translation of the new project’s name, and it became its guiding principle.
The Clients — a young couple with three children of different ages. Among their wishes: minimal decor, maximum simplicity in warm tones with natural materials — a kind of “japandi.”
The Layout — a functional apartment with a combined kitchen-living room, three children’s bedrooms, a master suite with its own bathroom, a children’s bathroom, and a guest bathroom-laundry room.
The main challenge was to fit all the desired spaces into a 127 m² apartment, plan as much storage as possible, and at the same time preserve the purity of the space.
Everything came together compactly and functionally thanks to built-in storage systems and a logical layout of living areas and utility spaces, while the purity of the space was preserved through warm, natural tones without bright accents.
Key materials: porcelain stoneware on the bathroom walls and floors, textured oak flooring in the living spaces and on the kitchen fronts, boucle upholstery on soft furniture, painted walls, MDF panels, and wooden blinds combined with blackout curtains on the windows.
